Looking for someone with the unique ability to craft, shoot, and edit.
L.A.C.E.S. is a non-profit organization that uses biblical approaches to teach teamwork, mentorship, and sports to combat the various effects of unsupportive upbringings and environments. We are a dynamic team of people that are committed to being a voice for children around the world, and aim to break the cycle of neglect and to promote integrity among future leaders of this world.
Project:
Come up with creative ideas and bring together meaningful content to tell the compelling story of L.A.C.E.S. We are looking for someone to craft, shoot, and edit our story. We are in need of multiple videos that can capture the impact this program is having on the Liberian people and the communities we are serving
Big Picture:
The big picture is that our story is constantly evolving. It started with a big idea from the founder, evolved to Liberians catching the mission and vision, and now we have a new story. Since Dec. 2008 L.A.C.E.S. in Liberia has been operating by all Liberian leadership. This new leadership took on the vision and mission and has tailored it more to their culture to include a broader and longer term impact on their people. We are now entering our 3rd year and have been able to evaluate the impact this program is having on the children, and we need you to partner with us in telling their personal testimonies so they can be seen and heard by the world.
You will have the opportunity to meet these people first hand, record their stories, and be their advocates to the world. You are the key person in shaping how this story will be told. The Executive Director of L.A.C.E.S. will accompany you on the trip as you learn about the culture, go to remote areas of this post-war country, and experience a once in a lifetime opportunity to tell the hopeful stories of the Liberian people as they walk through the difficult recovery process of a devastating 14 year civil war, and venture onto a path of restoration.
